PART TIME TEACHER OF PE

Allestree Woodlands School is a popular and successful 11-18 school, providing high quality education for 1350 students (200+ in the sixth form). The school is situated on the northern edge of the city of Derby in a very pleasant setting overlooking the Kedleston Hall National Trust estate. We work as a great team together and are committed to the continuing professional development of all colleagues.

We are seeking to appoint a part time teacher of PE to join our committed, collaborative, forward thinking Physical Education team from September 2022. Applications from candidates able to offer Drama as a second subject (0.5) welcomed.

We are looking for an excellent practitioner who can teach throughout Key Stages 3-5 with a proven track record of strong teaching and a commitment to continued professional learning and development. The successful applicant will be able to inspire learners and demonstrate highly effective classroom practice, and will be able to contribute to the extra-curricular provision offered by the school. The school offers a very personal and professionally supportive environment.
