CLEANING MANAGER
Required for September or as soon as possible.
Following a recent retirement, we are seeking to appoint a Cleaning Manager who is looking to play a central role in ensuring that a first-class cleaning service is delivered across all areas of our school buildings.
We are looking for an experienced cleaner who would, ideally, have team management experience.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be the main point of contact for all cleaners (who work at different points of the day) and will be responsible for rostering, ordering cleaning materials, monitoring cleaning activities and ensuring all cleaning staff follow Health and Safety policies and procedures.
This position is offered at 30 hours week for 41 weeks per year (term time plus two weeks holiday cover). The working pattern is to be determined by the successful candidate and the Facilities Manager, but can be either one week of earlies, followed by a week of lates OR a split shift of 3 hours in the morning and 3 in the evening five days per week.
NJC Scale 4-5 points 7/17 £20,092 - £24,491. Pro rata to weeks and hours worked actual salary is £14,730-£17,955 per year. Salary point dependent on qualifications and experience.
