National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ with AED)

 

RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is the most widely recognised lifeguard qualification in the UK. Course content will cover the lifeguard, the swimming pool, supervision, intervention, water rescues, CPR and First Aid. All course material and assessment included.

100% attendance is required for the whole course

Requirements: All candidates must be minimum of 16 years old and a competent swimmer. You must be able to complete the following Pre-Requisites, Jump / dive into deep water, Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds, Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water, Tread water for 30 seconds, Surface dive to the floor of the pool and Climb out unaided without ladder / steps. You will need to bring swimwear, tshirt and shorts to wear during the pool session and provide enough food and drinks for the duration of the day. Light refreshments available on site.

Costs: £220.00 (£60.00 payable at the time of booking, £160.00 payable 2 weeks prior to first course day)

How to book: Complete a booking form and pay deposit of £60.00 at Swimming Pool reception (Cash or Cheque only)

Optional bolt-ons: You may also complete an optional bolt-on sections to be able to receive either an Emergency First Aid at work Certificate (£+10) or First Aid at work Certificate (+£30)

This course is subject to a minimal enrollment to go ahead

When: Saturday 11 November 2017, Sunday 12 November 2017, Saturday 18 November 2017, Sunday 19 November 2017, Saturday 2 December 2017 and Sunday 3 December 2017

Time: 10.00am - 6.00pm (to be confirmed)

Cost: Level 1 Swimming Assistant £250 or Level 2 Swimming Teacher £550 (Level 1 and Level 2 £750)
